From referee managers to referees – everyone needs the tools that allow them to carry out their day-to-day responsibilities. Unfortunately, a complete referee management solution has been lacking. Until now. RefAssist and RefSix will combine forces in order to supply this innovative solution to sports federations, with the mutual mission of making referees’ lives much easier.

RefAssist will continue to focus on sports federations with their state-of-the-art refereeing platform, allowing their clients to manage all referees and appoint them as efficiently as possible. Meanwhile, RefSix will keep exploring the wondrous world of referees and their data with their referee-managed app helping referees record match incidents during games and tracking their physical performance. An integrated solution of both platforms has created a particularly powerful and innovative change in the market. All data will be synchronised on both platforms, enabling referee managers to stay up-to-date with availabilities, cancellations, appointments, trainings and so much more.

Dieter De Naeyer, RefAssist’s CEO, shares the following about this partnership:

“Thus far, we haven’t been able to offer a native app, yet lately we’ve come to see that this was becoming increasingly more important to referees. Having RefSix as a partner is a substantial step forward, since we can now offer their N°1 referee app to our clients. Our new partner’s referee data is invaluable for all referee managers. RefSix will henceforth be able to include appointments and push notifications in their app. This partnership portrays a great innovation for both sides, but mainly for referees and referee managers.”

Hassan Rajwani, CEO of the RefSix company, picks up where Dieter left off:

“Our mission is to make refereeing as easy and enjoyable as possible. For our users, this has meant delivering a top-class user experience and simplified administration. The partnership with RefAssist enables us to deliver these benefits at a national, regional and association level. Referees will be able to send match reports at the touch of a button, giving them more time to enjoy the game they love, and giving associations accurate match data in return.”

Both tech companies are excited about the future and joint conquest of the market. Innovating and focusing on the referee world remain key features for RefAssist and RefSix. A first project is already having a blast of a start in Scotland. Stay tuned for more details about their first project.
